In an emergency, call 911. CourtBridge Solutions and InterventionConnect are not emergency services, and messages to your provider can be delayed or fail to arrive.
This policy explains what information CourtBridge Solutions LLC ("CourtBridge Solutions," "we," "us") handles, why, and who it is shared with. It covers the CourtBridge Solutions platform used by program providers, the InterventionConnect app used by program participants, and this website.
Who decides how participant information is used
CourtBridge Solutions is software that program providers (for example, batterers' intervention programs and specialty court programs) use to manage their own participants. The provider decides which participants to enroll, what information to record and who it is shared with, such as a court or probation officer. We handle participant information on the provider's behalf to run the platform. If you are a participant, your provider is usually the best place to start with questions or requests about your records.
Information we handle
Provider and staff accounts
- Name, email address, phone number, organization and role.
- Billing details, which are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
Participants (entered by the provider or by the participant in InterventionConnect)
- Name, email address, phone number, preferred language, program and enrollment details.
- Check-ins: if your provider uses check-ins, your location is recorded only at the moment you tap "Check In" or "Check Out." The app does not track your location in the background.
- Messages with your provider, court dates, tasks, documents, signed forms and the dates you gave consent.
- Records your provider keeps about your program, which can include attendance, progress notes, case notes and, for some programs, drug test results, probation visits, child protective services involvement and violations.
- Your private journal in InterventionConnect. Provider staff cannot see it.
Other information
- For batterers' intervention programs, limited notification records that state rules require programs to keep, such as a name and one contact method. These are restricted to authorized staff and every view is logged.
- Records requests from courts, probation officers or agencies submitted through our request form: the requester's name, organization, contact details and request.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser type and error reports, processed by our hosting and error-tracking services to keep the platform working and secure.
How we use information
- To provide the platform: accounts, records, check-ins, messages, reports and notifications.
- To send text messages and emails you or your provider have set up or agreed to, such as enrollment links and alerts.
- To provide support, troubleshoot problems, keep the platform secure and prevent misuse.
- To bill providers for their subscriptions.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who information is shared with
- Your provider and its authorized staff.
- People your provider chooses to share with, such as a court, probation officer or agency. Records requests through CourtBridge Solutions must be reviewed and approved by an administrator at the provider. We do not decide them.
- Service providers that run the platform for us: Supabase (database, logins and file storage, hosted in the United States), Vercel (website and app hosting), Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages), Resend (email), Sentry (error tracking) and OpenStreetMap (map images). They process information only to provide their services to us.
- Zoom, if your provider uses video sessions through CourtBridge Solutions when that feature is available. Your video, audio and display name are then processed by Zoom under Zoom's privacy statement.
- When required by law, such as a valid court order or subpoena, or to protect someone's safety.
CourtBridge Solutions can access records when needed to provide support and keep the platform working.
Text messages
If you give a phone number and agree to texts, you may receive enrollment links, reminders and alerts from your provider through CourtBridge Solutions. Message and data rates may apply. To stop text messages, tell your provider or email info@courtbridgesolutions.com.
How information is protected
Access to records is controlled in our database, so each provider organization can see only its own records. Sensitive records are restricted to authorized staff, documents are kept in private storage and important actions are recorded in an audit log. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify affected people and providers as the law requires.
How long information is kept
Programs often have legal requirements to keep records, so we keep information for as long as the provider's account is active and as needed to meet those requirements. A provider can ask us to return or delete its organization's records when it stops using CourtBridge Solutions, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. Participants should usually contact their provider first, because the provider decides what its program records must contain. You can also email info@courtbridgesolutions.com. We will confirm your identity, work with your provider where needed and respond within 30 days. Some records may have to be kept because of a court order or the law.
Children
CourtBridge Solutions is not directed to children under 13. If a program serves minors, the provider is responsible for obtaining any required consent from a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will also notify providers.
